A quick peak into our events
Open Mic Night
Tank you to Barry Rosen who conceived and hosted our first Open Mic Night! Rachael shay and Alex Hobcraft worked on this team putting together a wonderful evening of music, poetry, and comedy. It was great seeing you all perform and laugh with us. We hope to see you all next year!
Our Seder
Our Temple Anshe Sholom community came together for a beautiful and meaningful Second Night Seder, filled with warmth, reflection, and connection. From the retelling of the Exodus story to the joyful singing of familiar melodies, the evening was a powerful reminder of the traditions that bind us across generations.
Tables were filled with families, friends, and new faces, all sharing in the rituals and rhythms of Passover. The sights, sounds, and flavours of the Seder created a space where everyone could feel at home.
This year’s Seder was especially meaningful as we welcomed both longtime members and those joining us for the first time, truly embodying the spirit of “Let all who are hungry come and eat.” It was a night that reflected the strength, resilience, and inclusivity of our community.
We are so grateful to everyone who helped make the evening possible, from those who planned and prepared to those who participated so fully and thoughtfully.
