Hope to see you soon!

Services and Rituals
Our services blend traditional Jewish liturgy with contemporary elements, making them accessible and meaningful. Here’s a brief overview of what you might encounter:

Shabbat Services:

As Reform Jews, our formal Shabbat services take place on Friday evenings. Our Friday evening services are filled with beautiful music, communal prayer, and inspiring sermons. Services are conducted in Hebrew and English, with Siddurim (prayer books) that include transliterations and translations. On Shabbat morning, we focus on learning and community. We offer Shabbat morning prayers and Torah study informally in our Temple Library. During the school year, we also have Shabbat services for families! On select Friday nights throughout the year, we have a potluck Shabbat dinner for families to get to know each other before our Family Shabbat service. Our Family Shabbat services are shorter and designed to keep young ones engaged. On Shabbat mornings throughout the school year, we also offer Saturday morning Tot Shabbat services, a fun drop-in program to build strong Jewish foundations and build connections in the community.

Kippah and Tallit:

Wearing a kippah (head covering) and tallit (prayer shawl) is optional but available for those who choose to observe these customs. You’ll find them at the entrance if you wish to wear them.

Safety

We have security guards present at all of our in-person services and many of our events. If a service or an event is expected to be larger than normal, we will also have Hamilton Police present. Some of our events and programs require registration in advance to attend. Please call our Temple Office if you have any questions regarding registration for an event or program.

No registration is required for Friday night or Saturday morning services. However, all attendees must complete our Identity Validation Form before your first time attending. Please bring a valid piece of identification, as it may be requested upon arrival.

We are thrilled to have you with us and hope that your visit to our synagogue is a fulfilling and enriching experience. Welcome to our community!
