Welcome to our new year! We just build our big community Sukkah in front of Temple Anshe Sholom. Thanks to the Loewith Family it has straw bale benches inside and corn stalks on the roof! Come by and visit during the week of Sukkot!
Check out the services and activities that we have planned this fall:
Thanksgiving Dinner on Erev Sukkot!
It’s the Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend and it coincides with Erev Sukkot on Sunday, October 9th. What a wonderful opportunity to celebrate together at Temple Anshe Sholom. Last time we saw you we were fasting. This time it is Kosher Turkey with all the trimmings! Please let us know you are coming!
Join Rabbi Cohen & Cantor Baruch for the Sukkot Festival Morning Service outdoors by our beautiful Sukkah! A Lulav and Etrog will be on hand for all the feels and smells of the season.

SHABBAT SUKKOT
During the Festival of Sukkot there is always a Shabbat which makes double the celebration. Our Sukkah and Main Sanctuary are all dressed up for the Fall Festival and we look forward to singing and prayer with you as we welcome Shabbat together in community.
We’re getting together at Temple Anshe Sholom on Saturday night, October 15th at 7:00 PM to sing and play music together and bid farewell to Shabbat. At Havdalah with Friends gatherings we provide Soft Beverages and we ask you to bring a treat to share. This could be cookies, a cake, some nachos. You are welcome to bring beer or wine to enjoy if you wish. See you at Havdalah!
